UF advances major construction projects for dentistry, housing, music and utilities

The University of Florida is moving forward with several large-scale construction and renovation projects across campus, including expansions of the Dental Science Building, the School of Music, and new student housing near Flavet Park. A historic former Infirmary building is being converted into a permanent home for the Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education, with completion expected in fall 2027. Ongoing underground utility upgrades along Stadium Road, Buckman Drive and Fletcher Drive are causing temporary traffic restrictions while the work is underway.
