Gainesville Commissioner Bryan Eastman wins statewide housing award

District 4 City Commissioner Bryan Eastman received the 2026 Local Government Housing Champion award from the Florida Housing Coalition at its REPAIR Conference in Orlando this August. The honor recognizes elected officials for leadership in tackling Florida’s housing challenges. Eastman was recognized alongside State Senator Alexis Calatayud, who received the State Government Housing Champion award.
