Fort White man raises nearly $60K after community rallies around him

Terry Small, a 68-year-old Fort White resident forced to semi-retire due to COPD, had been standing at a local intersection seeking help with unpaid utility bills while surviving on $510 a month in Social Security. A local social media influencer spotted him and launched a GoFundMe campaign that collected nearly $60,000 within days.
