Gainesville mother arrested on aggravated child abuse charge after toddler found unresponsive

Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 29-year-old Jessica Wilson after a 2-year-old was found unresponsive at a residence on Southwest 24th Avenue Thursday night. Medical staff at the hospital documented skull fractures, bruising on the head, chest, and back, and possible internal bleeding. Wilson faces a charge of aggravated child abuse.
