GPD searching for armed man who made threats at Newberry Road Burger King

Gainesville police responded to a Burger King at 6123 W. Newberry Road around 6 p.m. Friday after a potentially armed man made threats inside the restaurant. Officers found that the man had barricaded himself in the bathroom but was gone by the time they arrived. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to contact the Gainesville Police Department.
