Cigna exits Florida ACA marketplace, following Aetna’s earlier withdrawal

Cigna has announced it will pull out of Florida’s Affordable Care Act insurance marketplace, joining Aetna in abandoning the state’s individual health coverage market. The back-to-back departures raise questions about whether additional insurers may follow, potentially leaving Florida residents with fewer coverage options and higher premiums.
