Gainesville’s RTS sees ridership drop by half a million in six months amid route cuts

Gainesville Regional Transit System has recorded a loss of approximately half a million passengers during the first six months following route reductions, according to city figures. A new station is planned for the Tower Road area as the agency works to reshape its network.
